Mr. Sanghwa Park, Director of the Korean Education Center in Washington DC, attended the 36th Annual Conference of NAKS (National Association for Korean Schools) at Schaumburg Convention Center in Chicago from July 18 to 21, 2018. The conference was held under the theme of "Korean Language Education Encompassing Passion and Professionalism." The keynote lecture about Cuban-Korean immigrants by Mr. Joseph Juhn and various lectures and exhibitions were held along with the board meeting and general assembly. At the general assembly, new presidency (President Ms. Sunmi Jung Oh, Vice Presidents, Mr. Su Mok Shim, Ms. Yeon Seong Han and Ms. Ji Hyun Lim) was elected.
