Korean Education Center in Washington DC (KECDC) is established by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea, as an organization for supporting overseas Korean education and promoting Korean language programs in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

We support various educational activities of Korean schools including Korean language, history and culture to enhance Korean heritage students' identity and global competence. We also provide financial and educational support to Korean classes in elementary and secondary schools to enrich students with multicultural awareness and global competitiveness.
