Mr. Moon Kyoo Shin, Minister Counselor of the Korean Embassy, and Mr. Sanghwa Park, Director of Korean Education Center in Washington DC, visited the American Councils for International Education (ACIE) on April 18, 2018. Mr. Dan E. Davidon, Director of Assessment Research Center, and ACIE staff explained about NEWL (National Examinations in World Language) Korean test which is now in its second year and mentioned their intentions of vitalizing the test while asking for KECDC and Korean Embassy's assistance and support. Mr. Park explained about the Korean language classes, Korean language schools, Korean language teacher workshops, and related conferences. They discussed various cooperation methods such as inclusion of NEWL Korean test score in the Korean Education Center program, or signing a MOU between both organizations.
