Mr. Moon Kyoo Shin, Minister Counselor of Korean Embassy, and Mr. Sanghwa Park, Director of Korean Education Center in Washing DC, attended a meeting with some members of Montgomery County Board of Education, organized by the Korean American Education Foundation (KAEF). Ms. Lee Kwang-Ja, Chairperson of the KAEF, explained the progress that the Korean Embassy and the Foundation had promoted to introduce Korean as a foreign language in the area of Montgomery County Office of Education while requesting the necessity of introducing Korean language programs into some secondary schools of MCPS.
