On December 18th, 2019, Ambassador Lee hosted the 2019 National Education Development Award Ceremony on behalf of the Korean government. Seungmin Lee, former President of the National Association for Korean Schools, received Presidential Citation, and In-ae Yoon, former Board President of the Washington Association for Korean Schools, received Prime Minister's Commendation. Ambassador Lee sincerely congratulated them for their contribution to developing Korean-American education over the past few decades.
