On October 19, 2019, Park Sanghwa, Director of KECDC, participated in Hangeul Day Celebration at St. Mary Hall in the University of Maryland, where Dr. Robert Ramsey delivered a special lecture on "Hangeul, Korea's Gift to the World" , Mr. Kwon Myungwon showed a performance of Korean calligraphy, Ms. Chung Sookyung performed Korean traditional dance and music. This event has been sponsord by Mr. Shin Hyunil for more than a decade.
