Peace in the minds of youth: Beyond war to sustainable peace

1.    Background 
    In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, the 2023 Global Youth Forum aims to bring together young people from 16 United Nations (UN) states that sent combat units and 6 countries that provided medical support to UN troops during the Korean War to rediscover and reflect on the meaning of peace.

    The forum aims to provide an opportunity for dialogue on peace and sustainability among young people and to establish a global network of young people to continue such dialogue.

    Venue: (forum) Seoul, Republic of Korea / (pre-forum sessions) online
    Official language: English (Simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the official forum schedule.)

    Organizer: Korean National Commission for UNESCO
