2020 OKFriends Homecoming Teens & Youth Camp

1. Program Overview

o Period

   - Teens : (1st) July 15 ~ July 21, 2020, (2nd) July 29 ~ August 4, 2020

   - Youth : August 5 ~ August 12, 2020

o Venue : Seoul and Local Regions 
o For whom
 - Middle and High School students between ages 14 to 18(by July 1, 2020)
 - University and Preliminary University students between ages 18 to 23 (by August 1, 2020)
※ Considering the different academic calendar in each country, 18-year-old pre-university students are allowed to choose the program to apply

o Total Number of Participants
 - 500 Overseas Korean Middle and High School students for each camp
 - 500 Overseas Korean University and Preliminary University students

2. Application

A. Application period (Korea Standard Time) : Individual application before April 1, 2020
 

B. Documents for submission
ㅇ Required documents (Write in Korean or English directly on the online application screen)
 ① Application form (including photo), Permission to request personal information and consent of usage
 ② Self-introduction Letter (written either in Korean or English)
    ※ Must write place of birth and period of time living abroad
 ③ Certificate of enrollment or Admission letter
    (Upload directly to the online application form)
ㅇ Optional Documents (Direct upload to the online application form)
 ① Special skills. Awards(copy)
 ② Recommendation letter (principal or counselor)

※ Email, phone number, and contact information must be accurate
(Notification of selection results, announcements including schedule and program information will be frequently send via email)

D. Benefits
ㅇ Airfare
  - 50% airfare to all participants (Round trip, Economy basis)

ㅇ Expenses and Travel Insurance
  - Accommodation, meals, vehicle and traveler's insurance for the duration of the program

ㅇ To be announced through Overseas Koreans Foundation website www.korean.net, on April 27, 2020 (Participants will be notified individually).
